What do you think of when you think of Thanksgiving? A family reunion? The Turkey? Football? For most of us, it is at least one of the above. But it can also be the start of a slippery slope of “holiday eating,” when any healthy habits you might have been working hard to form disappear with each spoonful of gravy and each slice of pie. And I am not against a tradition which is one of my favorite family holidays. But for those of you who are looking for a healthier, perhaps plant-based or vegan alternative, some new side dish options, or simply something new, here is a roundup of some healthier dishes you might want to include on your Thanksgiving table.
